Queen's Manor Primary School, Fulham

About our school...

Queen’s Manor Primary School is situated in South Fulham within spacious surroundings and overlooking the River Thames and Barnes Wetlands.  We are well connected in terms of travel being a 10 minute walk from Hammersmith, 15 minutes from Putney and 20 minutes from Fulham (Tube information: District, Hammersmith & City & Piccadilly line services from these stations).  A very regular bus service is available on Fulham Palace Road.

Queen’s Manor is a state funded Primary School catering for children aged 3-11 years.  The school admits up to 30 children per year group (25 in the Nursery) and classes are usually organised according to the children’s ages.  We serve a diverse and multi-cultural community and in addition, are in the enviable position of having a unit for children with identified learning difficulties.  We pride ourselves on the inclusive nature of our school.

The school itself is a magnificent three storey Victorian building with many original features of historical interest alongside state of the art technology.  We have the benefit of three halls, large, bright classrooms and specialist teaching areas including an ICT suite, drama studio, music room and library.

The school also benefits in having two large playgrounds, garden/ field, conservation area and vegetable garden all of which are accessible for learning and leisure.

We have very close links within our school, in the local area and indeed the wider community, working in partnership with organisations and agencies to provide support and exciting opportunities for the pupils.  We strongly believe in widening experiences for young children and promote out of classroom learning opportunities, alongside inviting a wide range of visiting speakers and groups into the school.
